Air Quality Index Rating

Karachi is the second most polluted city in the world

According to environmental experts, if the air quality index in the atmosphere is from 0 to 50, then the environment can be said to be good, which means that air pollution is negligible.

If the AKI is between 51 and 100, the pollution is considered non-hazardous, but if the same reading is between 101 and 150, the air is considered hazardous for sensitive people.

Similarly, an AKI reading of 151 to 200 means that the environment is completely unhealthy, an AKI between 200 and 300 means that the air is highly polluted and hazardous to live in.  While an AQI of more than 300 would be considered the most dangerous.
